SHORT LISTED CANDIDATES FOR
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS

The list of candidates (Annexure I) short listed for verification of documents for admission to Pre-Primary 2009-10.

1. The parents of the candidates short listed (Annexure I) for admission to Pre-Primary 2009-10 are requested to produce the relevant documents in original for verification on the dates specified (refer the date, time and Sl.No. on the list (Annexure II)). If those short listed do not turn up for verification of documents on the prescribed date we presume that they are not interested in admitting their children to Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, New Delhi.

2. If any discrepancy is found in the particulars given in the form and the documents, then such cases stand to lose the points allotted.

3. If the parents of those short listed for admission do not produce the relevant documents in original, then such cases stand to lose the points allotted. The following original certificates are required at the time of verification:

(i) Birth certificate of the child.

(ii) Baptism certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest (for Catholics).

(iii) Proof of Residence (any one of the following documents in the name of the father of the child: Passport / Election Identity Card / Driving Licence / Electricity or Telephone Bill – MTNL landline).

(iv) Proof of Sibling (First Term report card 2008)

(v) Proof of Alumni (Identity Card)

(vi) Proof for transferable Jobs (Only transferable jobs from other states)

(vii) Single Parent (widow / widower)

4. Those applying from economically weaker section have to produce the following additional documents in original:

(i) Ration card / electoral identity card / driving licence (showing parents of the child staying in Delhi for last 5 years)

(ii) Income certificate issued by the S.D.M. of the area or any other Revenue Officer not below the rank of the Tehsildar / Food & Supplies Officer, Deptt. of NCT of Delhi.

(iii) Letter from the parents of the candidate stating the parental income.

(iv) Application from the parents requesting for admission in the freeship category.

Yes definitely kids should be sent to play school. As an educated  parents  we can teach best to our kids but the environment which they get in play school is far different than we are giving to our child. There they learn to play with the simple toy but with the different view, new friends , new looks, with the feeling of sharing & caring , balanced emotions , dressing sense, disciple in behavior and many more special aspects of personality. Which prepares your kid for the future learning & beginning of their new life without family members to pamper  .  In nut shell we can say play schools which gives full freedom to the child to explore herself / himself are a big help.

Music is a part of life in every country and every culture. Music is used as part of our celebrations, holidays, religious or worship experiences, as well as for pure entertainment.  Music plays an important role in all aspects of a child's development.
Lullabies  have been played to children for many years for helping  them to sleep  Listening to music is a good baby calming technique, whether you are rocking your baby in your arms or swaying to the rhythm. It's soothing and a wonderful way to bond and interact with your child.
According to Survey performed in nurseries has found that music played in the background can help pre-school children to have more positive and better social interactions.

Research has also identified that playing background music within a classroom environment helps children perform spatial skills better - these include activities such as paper cutting, folding, and intricate puzzles.

This musical accompaniment also improves attention span and concentration enabling children to answer more questions correctly.
Preschools  teachers have known for a long time that children learn best through songs. They remember the material easier and it is easier to help them engaged in the activity. Songs, poems, and raps will improve memory of content facts and details and provide a hook for retrieving information easily later.
