SHORT LISTED CANDIDATES FOR
VERIFICATION OF DOCUMENTS

The list of candidates (Annexure I) short listed for verification of documents for admission to Pre-Primary 2009-10.

1. The parents of the candidates short listed (Annexure I) for admission to Pre-Primary 2009-10 are requested to produce the relevant documents in original for verification on the dates specified (refer the date, time and Sl.No. on the list (Annexure II)). If those short listed do not turn up for verification of documents on the prescribed date we presume that they are not interested in admitting their children to Don Bosco School, Alaknanda, New Delhi.

2. If any discrepancy is found in the particulars given in the form and the documents, then such cases stand to lose the points allotted.

3. If the parents of those short listed for admission do not produce the relevant documents in original, then such cases stand to lose the points allotted. The following original certificates are required at the time of verification:

(i) Birth certificate of the child.

(ii) Baptism certificate and a letter from the Parish Priest (for Catholics).

(iii) Proof of Residence (any one of the following documents in the name of the father of the child: Passport / Election Identity Card / Driving Licence / Electricity or Telephone Bill – MTNL landline).

(iv) Proof of Sibling (First Term report card 2008)

(v) Proof of Alumni (Identity Card)

(vi) Proof for transferable Jobs (Only transferable jobs from other states)

(vii) Single Parent (widow / widower)

4. Those applying from economically weaker section have to produce the following additional documents in original:

(i) Ration card / electoral identity card / driving licence (showing parents of the child staying in Delhi for last 5 years)

(ii) Income certificate issued by the S.D.M. of the area or any other Revenue Officer not below the rank of the Tehsildar / Food & Supplies Officer, Deptt. of NCT of Delhi.

(iii) Letter from the parents of the candidate stating the parental income.

(iv) Application from the parents requesting for admission in the freeship category.
